The Glitch In The Gospel
We are told the Gospel is the 'Good News'—a story of a loving Father and a selfless rescue mission. But when you look at the actual mechanics of substitutionary atonement and the logic of the Cross, a massive glitch appears. Is God a Savior, or is he a Mob Boss running a divine protection racket? In this video, we deconstruct the 'Good Cop/Bad Cop' routine of the Gospel and ask the question: Why does an all-powerful God need a blood sacrifice to stop himself from being angry?
