A Gintama chapter a day keeps the ending away...Lesson 567

MY 7 FAVORITE MOMENTS IN LESSON 567:

1) When I first saw this I actually thought Mutsu just kicked Sakamoto in order to destroy the machine behind him lols...I didn’t realize she was actually under Hankai’s control until afterwards.

2) Sakamoto being a true captain. 

3) The whole wire tentacle stuff was actually pretty gross.

4) Cool shot...again, didn’t fully understand what was going on until later...it almost looked like Sakamoto just tripped and the bullet miraculously missed him. 

5) Against my wishes, I was starting to change my mind just a little about NobuNobu. 

6) Sakamoto looking all cool for once. 

7) And that’s when I realized Mutsu is so much more awesome than I know and I just loved her all over again.

SHIPS TALLY:

Sakamoto x Mutsu: she resisted digital glamour just so she could save Sakamoto, and he was obviously totally concerned for her well-being. I generally think she’s too good for them, but when they’re cute, they’re pretty cute.

Sakamoto x NobuNobu: yeah, totally think NobuNobu was crushing on Sakamoto. 

Disclaimer: Gintama is not only about shipping. Gintama is hilarious, clever, exciting, poignant, heart-breaking, loving, brilliant, and just so freaking amazing.  It is only due to Sorachi-sama’s generosity that I can enjoy Gintama on yet another level, the shippy level, and I am forever grateful for that. GINTAMA IS LIFE AND LOVE.
