I got admit, I like that 'Saku can't have kids and Karin offered to surrogate' idea more than some of the others that are floating around: Saku stole salad, Karin didn't want to deal with a child, sasuke cheated, etc., but as to your thought on artificial insemination sounding odd for NARUTO, they have skyscrapers, laptops and mobile's now so I guess it could be plausible?
When I said that artificial insemination was odd I wasn’t talking about the plausibility of the thing, I was talking about the fact that it sounds very out of place in a story like NARUTO.
But I have to agree with you that this theory is surely better than the others.
