Now that I’ve seen the first season of Aikatsu Stars 2-3 times, I realize that they really set Laura up to fail/always lose to Yume. I love Yume now, but the writers clearly made Yume OP, especially during the early episodes. I wish it was a consistent Yume vs Laura thing where one would win and then the other would win, where Yume would finally beat Laura and take the S4 seat. Also, I really hate how they make Hime the most important S4 member. I love her, but the other members deserve to be recognized. They’ve had their moments, but nothing that really compares to Hime’s radiance. She could be a huge star like Mizuki, but the series totally downplayed the other S4 members’ abilities.
