over the month, i got my very own silly lil guy ,,

salamander cw

his name is bert & he’s a (western) tiger salamander ! a co-worker gave him to me in early nov bc a woman surrendered the salamander to him bc she couldn’t care for him any longer. she loved him tho & was only getting rid of him bc she was expecting.

i knew nothing about salamanders aside that they were amphibians, so i dove into heavy research for a few days while learning to set up his environment and feeding.

i think i’ve really learned a lot since then, and he seems like he’s happy and in good health ! he’s my lil muppet and i’m never gonna b over him !!! 💛
