This scene is meant to happen very much in secret, late at night, in a manor full of people who can't know anything about what's happening here. (the *clutches pearls* scandal!)

Which is rather difficult with an instrument as loud as a piano, but that's what makes it fun, right?

And a challenge for me.

I went to excruciating lengths to make sure that absolutely no part of this pose was touching the keys, and spent hours more painstakingly sculpting the fabric of Ariss' skirt to flow over the keys and Vasily's knees, instead of dropping into oblivion out of the rendered view.

& I think it's an absolute tragedy not to share all that work. Besides, some of these could easily stand alone as their own renders, and maybe should've. I pride myself on "tasteful" spice, & while I think this one doesn't stray too far from that goal, it is quite a bit more explicit than I'm accustomed to.

But, ah well, it exists now lmao & I'm quite happy with how it turned out.

I think in the future I might do more of these "BTS" renders. There's always so much detail that gets lost in the final edit, which is okay, I'm the one who usually hides it with a crop or whatever, but I want those details to be seen dammit 🤣
