Latin Motion
Here is another great business I reviewed elsewhere: http://pageeasy.com/LatinMotion
Latin Motion Dance Academy
I watched Dancing With the Stars in Australia and loved Luda Kroitor, so googled her up and went along to a class at Latin Motion, which is her dance school. Sadly she wasn’t there and doesn’t come in much as it turns out. But no problem! The place was massive, it was running 3 classes at a time in 3 different studios, there was over 100 people in there. The atmosphere was amazing. I had dinner downstairs first at the bistro and 1 drink for courage (but just one!) then went up to the class. This was a free salsa class (voucher on their website), but I have since signed up for a term. My Instructor Helen did a great job of not making me feel like I was a complete idiot- thanks Helen! Look if you are thinking of taking a dance class and you are like “naah I cant dance” my advice is stop listening to yourself! Go along. Salsa is so welcoming, the people are friendly, they all have their own stories they bring, there are all ages, all sizes, it’s a great environment. So I guess learning Salsa is certainly learning how to dance, but its also having a social life and getting fit, I can see why it is so addictive.
So I have started my journey as a Salsero and am really happy about it. Thanks Latin Motion!
