This one IS hard… I have different favorite songs depending on my mood, which can change quickly…
Last week, I had Waving Through a Window almost on a loop… there was one day when On My Own was.
But if I have to say one song - I’d say it is one that makes it into my playlists most frequently. It’s called De Sol a Sol (from sunrise to sunrise). I heard this song for the first time when I was about 13-14, and I’ve sung it to my husband so many times. It’s a song that I play when I’m sad and want to feel better, a song I play when I have to clean because the song makes me happy but cleaning makes me mad. It’s a song that reminds me of one of the happiest years in my life - going to the fair in San Salvador, piling waaaay too many adults and children in a small car just to have a day together. De Sol a Sol is a part of me.
