CIBOLO, Texas — Violetlee Catherine Saltzmann, 78, died Sunday, Feb. 14, 2021, after a short illness.
She was born Feb. 14, 1943, in Enterprise, W.Va., the daughter of Darrell C. and Sclena A. Fall.
Mrs. Saltzmann worked many years at Caesar’s Italian Restaurant in Warren, until she moved to Texas in 2005 where she retired from HEB Deli Schertz, Texas in 2016.
Survivors include her children, Daniel Long, Matthew Long Sr., Joann Long Egbert and Tracey Anderson of Cibolo, Texas, Sclena Trevino of Schertz, Texas, Sandra Amos of Seguin,Texas and Leo Long Jr. of Warren; three siblings, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Fall of Windham, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Frank and Mr. Darrell “Duke” Fall of Newton Falls; 35 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son; a grandson; two great-grandsons; and five siblings.
Cremation will take place with Funeral Caring USA Funeral Home. A service will be held in Ohio at a later date for family and friends.
