Have we ever seen bearded Sam before? I know that Dean has had some scruff in his time but outside the actual actors I don't think they've ever been bearded.

no, just scruf. he’s had heavy scruff a few times, but this is the first beard. and oh my lord i’m done for. i just... i can’t even explain it but i’m ... yeah.

Iron & Wine (Sam Beard) will release the new album Ghost on Ghost, April 16 via Nonesuch.  He will tour to support the release, stopping at the Berklee Performance Center May 17th.
