s2 mentalist spoilers below the cut

I didn't particularly care for the Bosco storyline and I didn't feel too upset about his death even though he had grown on me in ep7. I think his character needed to be fleshed out a little more for the audience. Maybe that's just me

His whole high horse/moral sense against Jane was just annoying because the fact that he was in love with Lisbon was established quite early, which I also think weakened his character too. His vendetta against Jane didn't have any significant impact because it was derived from his feelings for Lisbon. I think it would've been better if his intentions were for the good of the CBI as a whole and not personal. Again, maybe just me, but I think the beginning of s2 had a lot of lost potential

With that being said the dynamic between Bosco and Jane gave off these vibes:
