Today I picked up my grade certificates for two classes I had taken the semester before last. I'd spent the past half year having on and off anxiety about those grades, because I didn't think I had done a good job at all on the final papers that I had to write. I honestly felt there was a good chance I didn't pass either of them.
Well, turns out I didn't just pass. I passed with a 1.3 and a 1.7 respectively (in American grades those are roughly equivalent to an A- and a B+, I believe(?)). And all I could think was that I'm such an idiot for thinking I failed, because in my whole time at uni (over five years now) I've never failed a class. I am actually good at what I do, but somehow I never remember that. It's frustrating as hell. So yeah, I'm an idiot, but it's a relief that I passed my classes, so yay?
