Backstory: Sam was raised by a former marine sergeant to be the best fighter possible. Due to his growing up during a time of great upheaval, (supernatural creatures coming out of the woodwork to gain acknowledgement as citizens), he had a massive chip on his shoulder. After the death of his young wife, he took Sam to Nome, Alaska to do nothing but train. He set them up as sort of bounty hunters of badly behaved supernatural creatures, taking bribes from the government. Some of the evidence was flimsy, and he gained a terrible reputation in the supernatural community. Sam was born with the ability to see and speak to spirits, an unusual gift that her father refused to recognize.
After some time of being his right hand woman, Sam began to doubt their mission. Eventually she managed to leave her home and move to the lower 48, changing her last name to Jameson and attempting to start a supernatural investigation agency.
Sam is a trained gymnast and dancer, though is very self conscious of her looks and figure. Her style tends to lean towards goth bratz doll, and her personality is rather dry and pointed, similar to her fathers. Even though she doesn’t act as a bounty hunter, she has been recognized as her fathers partner, which many less than upstanding creatures seek to take advantage of. A
