Sam Kress (1890) was costume department head at MGM and received credit for the costumes on THE YOUNGEST PROFESSION (1943). Oddly, he only has three credits posted to IMDb. In the photo he’s going over wardrobe choices with George Cukor and Lana Turner for A LIFE OF HER OWN. I guess his role was strictly supervisory because the costume credits went to Helen Rose and Rudi Gernreich.
