A lot of choices were made‚ some good (Lockhart as a last minute replacement for Robert Quarry is a perfect#Casting coup)‚ some questionable (the famous werewolf break is... An odd thing..) and some downright bad (whatever Peter Cushing was trying#To do with his accent was... ill judged). The ul#The UK was never very big on the werewolf picture; Hammer only ever made one‚ and this was Amicus' sole effort. The cast is the big pull#Here‚ with Lockhart‚ Cushing‚ a young Gambon‚ Gray... Perennial favourite Diffring steals his every scene (of which there are all too few)#Much is made of this as a blaxploitation film but personally I think that that's been overstated; crucially‚ the team behind the film were#All white‚ with just black actors for the two lead roles (and a black star does not a blaxploitation film make!). Actually I think it's a#Little dismissive to call this blaxploitation (not that that is necessarily a bad thing).. Or just inaccurate.. What am I even talking#About... But yeah fun but dumb but worth the visit
