Sam McBride Taps into Family Ancestry on New Single 'Mohawkin'
“This song has an interesting start with a rhythmic raw Indian percussion that shifts abruptly to grungy psychedelic Rock vibe complete with vocalizer effects that sound moody and thick layer over a swanky blues riff. I love the textures of the song, it has some unexpected cool factor. “

Mohawkin' is a kind of turbulent song. It is about a river in Upstate NY where I am from, but also about how someone's ancestry and upbringing play a role in what they become.
BRAVO - YANKEE is my first complete album, after starting to write my own music about 2 years ago. I am 100% self-taught, from the drums to production, it is all me. Any proceeds made from my songs, 100% will be donated to shark research. I am currently shooting for $3000 and am just about at the halfway point. Read more on my website, stlullaby.com.
Right now...
I will probably start my next project in a few months or so. I truly enjoy making my own songs, so if they are able to make even a little bit of money, which then can be donated to various causes, I am especially happy.
About the artist...
I started off playing the drums for a few years in high school, then went to college and music took a back seat. Lots of life lessons learned throughout the years made me realize I have a strong urge to keep learning new things. That's how I think of music now. An unending lesson. I have a lot to work on still, which excites me. As long as I keep getting better can maybe help the world at the same time, I will be doing this for a very long time.

A recent Tweet from Sam McBride concerning the DUP and Moy Park
Tweet Conversation Sam McBride @SJAMcBride Here are the pages from Burned which lie behind @Gabriel_Pogrund ‘s story in The Sunday Times today – this is just the tip of a very large iceberg. Interestingly, Moy Park would not comment at all when I approached it – but did comment when The Sunday Times asked it questions. 1:59 PM · Oct 13, 2019·Twitter Web Client

Ian Óg Paisley has backtracked once again and apologises for his outrageous allegation to Sam McBride of the Belfast News Letter
Óg Ian Paisley with Prime Minister Bojo
I am pleased that Ian Paisley has tonight published this retraction. We all make mistakes – I’ve certainly made plenty. I thank Mr Paisley for accepting that there was never any truth in his claims & the matter is now closed. Thanks again to all those who have expressed support. https://t.co/dOo45XNM5S

The Troubles touched almost every facet of society, extending to everything from the spread of animal disease to the over-fishing of eels and school discipline, according to a confidential government assessment (September 1976) seven years after the violence began.

Although the public caricature is often that of obstinate unionists blocking change, the reality is more complex. The nationalist parties face considerable pressure on these issues, particularly on abortion.
