Chapter 8: Settling In

Living together was supposed to be simple. Practical. A mutually beneficial arrangement.

But somewhere between morning coffee rituals and midnight conversations on the porch, the lines start blurring. Riley's learning that sharing a bathroom with someone you're attracted to is its own special kind of torture. -The part time job he has is to help at home due to his mother being a stay at home mum and his dad's military pension not being enough for the whole house, he also feels sometimes disconnected from adult hood and worries he'll never truly grow up
