Sam and Jess are getting married and Dean couldn’t be any happier for them. Honestly, they’re kind of disgustingly perfect for each other and Dean’s pretty damn excited about staying with them the week before the wedding. He’s Sam’s best man, of course, and he doesn’t even mind that Jess has her own best man to share in all the organisational duties. The more the merrier, right?

Except Dean must have done something to epically piss off the universe because Jess’s best man just happens to be Castiel friggin’ Novak. He’s got even hotter since High School, but apparently no friendlier and if Cas wants to spend the week pretending like they’ve never met before? Fine. Two can play at that game.

I agree with you about Dean's reaction to Sam and Becky getting married, I don't remember the rest of the episode very well, so he may have been an asshole later... but at that point? It's really not fair to bash him because he had no idea that Sam wasn't acting freely, and him marrying Becky WAS bizarre.

Exactly. See, I consider myself as a healthy sister, and if my sister was doing the same, of course I would react differently, I would talk to her calmly and try to understand. 

But, I don't see my sister as part of me, I don't think I am responsible for her wrongs, and my life mission wasn't her. 

Should Dean react differently? Sure. 

Could he? I doubt that. 

Does that specific case shows us the core problem of Dean's behavior toward Sam as controlling? I don't think so. 

I am the last one to approve Dean's assholeness toward Sam, and I never ignore that, people who follows me know how Sam girl I am. But this seemed to me like twisting that scene to something that is isn't. (I am not talking about the end of the episode where safiyabat said Dean blamed Sam, I don't remember that, but it's not unlikely, and this is pretty wrong, though I am able to understand Dean's reaction, that doesn't mean I approve them.

but fkn Becky Rosen who gets Sam to marry her. It made my life. omg. When she writes in her notebook: Sam loves Becky over and over again like a third grade child and Sam looks creeped out but just holds it close to his heart saying its beautiful. omg.

wedding stuff: (feel free to ignore this) 

it was awesome!  my feet went numb for a while but i looked good and so did the other bridesmaids and the groomsmen were dapper (almost killed them all because they were being so fucking contrary and unhelpful but in retrospect i'm glad they were just playing and not taking to TOO seriously, and the best man, who i walked down with, had a lip ring too so neither of us were the awkward duck in the party with a facial piercing) 

but sam.  oh sam was radiant.  wow.  it was a tough (long and hilarious and slightly emotional) process to get her into that dress but IT WAS SO WORTH IT.  

the ceremony was lovely and i cried a little and the vows were wonderful and really great and we kinda prayed a fuckton (my mom was surprised i lowered my head and said amen like really mom do you think i'm gonna be a dick about it at my best friend's wedding?  or like... ever?  jfc) but it wasn't as long as i thought it would be and i didn't trip YAY and yeah

so then we went to the reception and that was pretty fun!  good cake, lots of pictures!  sam ended up not tossing the bouquet or doing the dances (had issues with stuff) but it was still great.  i'll post the picture i got of me in my dress (okay i got two but one looks like i'm naked because of how i was holding the flowers XD) 

anyway, tl;dr, it was fantastic and i'm so so happy for sam and sean.  i didn't lose my best friend, but i got a brother that makes her really happy.  they went to the coast for their honeymoon so i hope they're having a good time :D

a black cardigan with a green cami (it was a good deal!) 

the jeans i'm wearing in that first one

5 new bras

no really 

they were so on sale one of them was $6.80 and one was like $16 and the other two were like $30 each

and i had to get a strapless one for my bridesmaids dress

but still guys omg bras i've been living in either sports bras or a push-up bra literally all summer

THEY'RE HELLISH TO STAND IN BUT I'M GONNA GET HEEL GRIPPERS AND CUSHY PADS

AND PRACTICE WALKING IN THEM

dude they make my legs look AMAZING though

i see the appeal of heels you just feel sexier

basically the less i hate on my body the more i love shopping for real

like i've never felt like i could pull off a cardigan

and nothing's different

except i think i look adorable and fuck everyone who doesn't agree
