How do you feel about otabek & yurio being good friends, and then maybe in a few years (3+) when they're BOTH adults it could develop into something more? That's my own HC bc yurio is too young for anyone rn but I think they could be nice together

I adore them being friends, but the “wait a few years until relationship” thing kinda rubs me the wrong way. At best it’s just personally uncomfortable for me and I don’t like it, at worst it’s more of the “just wait until it/yurio’s legal” excuse, which I hate because a) “wait until they’re legal” is creepy and as a minor it makes me extremely uncomfortable, and b) a lot of shippers will just. use it as an excuse to age up. link to why aging up is bad. 

So there’s my thoughts on that matter.
