It’s a useless ability that does him more harm than anything, an accidentally coming into skin on skin contact with someone via his hands always drains him to a dangerous degree. Depending on how someone dies, he may be stuck in bed for a number of days trying to come back from the shock and pain.

I talk a lot about them on this blog, IC and OOC, but they’ve never had their own page, so that’s being fixed.
Basic stats:
Name: Samael (troll-given)
Gender: None (they are intersex, and any pronouns can be used, since they’re a (bird)cat and don’t care.)
Species: Cat seraph*, winged purrbeast, wingmeow, etc.
Status: NPC, beast companion
*Cat seraphs are a species I created a couple years ago. They were originally intended to be the divine messengers of one of the first iterations of Disciple that I played, who joined a hodge-podge game-playing group, and thus became a goddess in the new universe they created. I liked the species design and wanted Felide to have a companion, so I brought them back.
Samael is a tiny bronzeblooded ocelot with a lion’s tail and mane (still growing in, at this moment of writing) and the wings of a red kite. Cat seraphs do not have front legs - their wings attach at their shoulders, which are rather flexible, and they will sometimes hobble on their wings if they need to walk a short distance. They can climb, using their mouth and their clawed, feline hind legs, but they prefer not to. They prefer flight above other modes of transportation.
Felide and Samael first met in late July of 2016, when Felide discovered that something/someone had been leaving dead fish on her front walk. After some investigation, she was ambushed by a very sneaky Samael, who promptly refused to leave her alone, going so far as to tangle themselves in her hair. Since then, Samael has become a part-time resident at Felide’s Hive. They come and go as they please.
Ultimately, they are still a wild animal. They just like hanging out with Felide. They do not take on a lusus-like role with her - they’re more like a pet, except she didn’t adopt them, and they adopted her instead. It’s complicated. Although they do have some consideration for Felide’s well-being, most of the time they know she can handle herself, and allow her to do so.
Samael is what we call Chaotic Neutral. Meaning that they really don’t give a shit, and will go about giving no shits in the most troublesome way possible. Your water cups are never safe in Hive Leijon. (That’s why they’re all paper and plastic.)
Samael is also really fucking smart. They’re basically a reaper angel (their namesake) in the form of a cat(bird), who still has all of their reaper angel capabilities. They can and will reap souls and destroy evil spirits. Being that they have no hands, they do this by “pulling” the physical manifestation of the soul out of something with their mind/powers, and then just fucking eating it.
Samael knows who you are and what you’ve done. They’re the companion of a Heart player, specializing in souls. They just don’t give a shit. They can tell with laser accuracy exactly what kind of person you are, and if they decide they don’t like you or that you mean them/their trusted people harm, you’re fucked. Be nice to Samael. It’s for your own good.
That being said, they are on decent terms with most people. This is their hierarchy of trust at this moment of writing:
Lil + Nepeta (Huntress)
Felide + Xanthe
Everyone else
If I give you permission to NPC Samael, you can 100% use any of this to your advantage. Have fun with it! They’re an fun, absurd character, that’s why I made them the way they are. Give yourself something to do and others will join in. Use them as a tool to spark activity and interactions. It’s what they’re here for.
