i really want to play dnd but i never had the opportunity, even if i had one, i grew up with a bunch of awful nerds, who'd call me a noob and i wouldn't want to give them the chance by letting them know that i don't know how to play. last year we wanted to play dnd online, 3/5 new to dnd and we had one session with one missing where we made half of our character sheets and no one had the time ever again~

thats awful. i know the feeling, i was new to dnd and got a friend to teach me. then we started in with a group of pretty awesome nerds and it was great. but time started getting in everyone's way, and we eventually stopped meeting every weekend and it was sad. it is a lot of fun with the right people. a bunch of nerdy guys singing disney songs while they're in a dungeon crawl is pretty priceless.
