I'll bet it did, especially for his son. He seems a man who would die for his son. But I also can't see him up and leaving on the Templars. Quite the quandary he's in.

Cullen loves his family. It's one of the things Garrett knows about him and loves to exploit. His life got a lot more complicated when he married Marian. Poor guy. Truly having Cullen choose between his life before (templar) and his life now (family) is one of the things I love most about this story. It's also something Meredith will never be able to understand.

When Meredith came in and were taking Marian and Malcolm, I thought that was really happening. I was gonna lose my shit. Well done.

I have this idea that when people dream in Thedas it feels like when we have really vivid dreams. The ones where it feels so real until you wake up. That and Cullen is not a mage so it's a lot harder for him to realize he's dreaming and in the Fade. Anyway, sorry for the fright. Gave Cullen a lot to think on though. ;)

If you can hold out for act 3 you'll see it.  I have a lot of it written, and basically Sebastian and Hawke will be making up for all the sex they haven't had in the first two acts.

So much. I was wondering when these two would find their way back to each other. I was concerned it wouldn't happen until the Normandy.
