The Burning Mantis
The orange sacs on the forlimbs secreat an orange, flamable liquid when the mandibles fold up. This coats the mandible in the flambile liquid which the creature can ignight on comand for combative or defensive purposes. The metal-esk exoskeliton is used to attract mates. The cleaner and better kept shell is given more oppurtunites to breed.
My headcanons of the Termina character ^^
Cory kenshin, another old art post. A lot of these posts will be old art whoops.

Legacies Season 2: Episode 4 = B+
(The plus is for the twins)
First and foremost Josie doing black magic and Professor Var having the perfect solution is just a little suspicious. I have a feeling we'll be seeing that glass thing again, and he probably needs all of that black magic for something. Now, Josie went to him for help, he helped her, she felt better (judging by how things went down with Jandon in the room) so he hasn't let her down. She asked, he helped, theres no reason why she wouldn't go back again and ask for more help, more teaching with magic. And just like that the mentor and protege duo are back in affect. (Even though, yes, Josie used black magic to save Lizzie) we shall see if that's a good or bad thing.
Lizzie! Well first off, the thing with Sebastian is tricky. I mean, we know that Sebastian is real because all the articles and Julie plec interviews we've watched. But just watching the show, and not paying attention to anything else. It would seem like MG is correct, Sebastian was a figment of Lizzies imagination. That would have been a mind blowing thing, and probably was, for people who don't look behind the curtains of the shows. But because some of us do, we already know Sebastian is real and we're just waiting for him to make an appearance. And figure out why he cant be seen. So that plot wasnt surprising to me, and I already knew that MG wouldn't be able to not tell Lizzie about it.
Which brings me to my ever loving Mizzie ship....yea. I knew this would happen. Now in MGs defense, Lizzie ruined it. But in her defense, with her mental health in everything, she was upset, she thought she was on a roll and then finds out no one can see him, but her. I definitely think she put all that anger and embarrassment of the situation on MG, and used him as her scape goat, but that was a bit of a blow to her. But like I said thanks a lot Julie for ruining my ship! Lizzie doesnt even want friendship, so that option is gone. And now that MG knows Sebastian is real, just for some reason is invisible to some people. What is he going to do? Go up to Lizzie and say "Hey! I know I told you that your perfect guy doesnt exist and it was all in your head, but I saw him myself! So I believe you now!" No! Lizzie is going to think that he's making fun of her, and isnt serious. Creating more problems for my ship. The best thing he can do is figure out this Sebastian situation himself and hopefully he'll have a vampire that everyone can see wrapped in a bow for Lizzie with an epic apology.
The twins! Because of the whole Sebastian thing, Lizzie was obviously at her wits end with her brain and mind (and drowning her sorrows in ice cream), and her wanting it to be over, and for Josie to do it, was heartbreaking. For her to be just done. Done with life, done with her mental health, done. And Josie looking horrified that Lizzie feels this way. I love that the twins saved the day today. Lizzie was fighting the demon, and going back and forth with her self. She is truly stronger than she thinks. The plus was for them. The sister bond was touching to see, and Josie using black magic and freeing Lizzie from the demon was bad ass.
I hope everything works out with that, because Lizzie was truly doing great. I even really hope that her growth will help her take steps to smooth things over with MG, when she realizes he was just looking out for her.
I do feel bad for the samari, to go that long without human touch, and then he died. Plus watching him and Josie converse in Japanese was funny.
So I'm assuming that Lizzie could remember Hope, because shes seeing her for the first time and like the samari, she already doesnt have a 'sound mind' like everyone else who Malivore took memories away from. So the memory of Hope could weave it's way through. "Hope Andrea Mikaleson. "
Relationships are going to be so awkward, weird, and destroyed by the time this thing wears off. Rafael openly likes Hope and talks to Landon about her, which he couldn't do before obviously, but since now he has Josie, he doesnt care. Josie dislikes Hope because shes too caught up with stuff dealing with Landon, but before Hope and Josie while didnt make it to best friend status, they were friends and evenly friendlier than Hope and Lizzie in the beginning. So that friendship would be awkward. Not to mention what Hope said would be true. What if he remembers and still picks Josie? Whether to move forward or worse, out of some chivalrous action to not leave the girl your with, for the one you love. I really hope Jandon doesnt have sex. That would create even bigger issues and problems. Hope and Landon haven't even had sex. Or what if Hope gets with Rafael before memories come back, as a way for her to move on?!?!
Plus now that Landon knows Hope is the one he's seeing when he dies, what's gonna happen? What's he gonna do with that information now? He obviously forgets what Hope told him while under the influence of the demon ( not sure if that's good or bad). Landon said Josie saving him was sexy...hmmm...who else do we know he used to say that too?
Alaric is once again going through Daddy sympathy pains right now. No, he wasnt there for the twins or Hope, Lizzie even wanted him, but he was flirting with Sherrif Mac. The twins had it taken care of, even Hope reassured him. But he's stepping away from his life, to come back and be a Dad in theres. I semi understand. I mean I would love for Alaric to have a life, but im also not a parent, so I'm not familiar with the daddy hover over having no personal life for myself thing. Either way though, it was a dick move to leave the Serriff at the bar by herself. He could have called or left a message to get back to her. Dont ghost without any explanation, no matter how important the reason he has. So that was rude to me.
So for me, I hate that my Mizze ship went up in flames, so I'm a bit bitter about that. But I love the attention to the twins this episode has, mostly Lizzie, and I liked seeing all the characters talk about stuff that they normally wouldn't with each other if Hope was remembered. I'm just tallying up all the behaviors and conversations I hear that I hope with be talked about over again when Hope is back. So overall B, but emphasis on the twins, plus Lizzie is the only one who truly remembers (Alaric is being told of memories), B+.
I cannot wait till next episode. Kaleb is back! Its the 80s and Hizzie time! With a labyrinth! I hope Lizzie doesn't fall back into save the day behavior and old patterns, it looks like that with the preview. Trying to not let Hope get all the glory, like she felt in season 1. But beside that, I cannot wait!
Oh! And Kai's video from the prison world!? Chris Wood is supposed to be coming back episode 12. Cheers to that!
I dont have any questions I want answered and no mystery to be solved, besides the obvious. So next week is just the storylines to watched for entertainment.
See you then!
