sometimes it’s kinda hard to run this blog bc of the agere section of my dni, someone got really pissed at me for rbing something from them even though there was nothing in their post banner listing that sort of boundary. idk how you expect me to know that, especially when nowhere in your bio is it mentioned that you participate in agere either. like sorry but if it’s that important to you then that boundary needs to be more visible. granted, this was before i revised my dni to clarify my stance a little bit, but my point still stands i think? like im not gonna surf through every single blog i come across while i’m tag searching for gifs just to see if there’s something extra on their page that wasn’t included in their dni banner? i just think it’s a bit of an unrealistic expectation, but maybe i’m just out of touch.

#sambarks #bit of a ramble sorry #i know i don't have many followers here #but is this a common occurrence?#idk i think if you have a hard boundary you want to set that it should be immediately visible on your posts #because most people i would think wouldn't go out of their way to vet someone's account #also: i like a lot of the nostalgic kidcore stuff but there's such an overlap in communities that idk what to do #like beanie babies and stuffed animals and bright colours #i don't want people making me uncomfortable but i don't wanna make others uncomfortable either #just trying to figure out and understand things a little better #idk i have the most important stuff in my banner yk?#and if someone outside of what's directly visible of my banner interacts im not gonna hound them about it
