I feel strongly that 1) one should visit #Sambuichi’s #thewater installation in the cisterns beneath Copenhagen and 2) one should revisit some Grimms fairytales alongside it. Lucky for @josephmurdy and me, @aymaemae__ happened to gift us a book of the aforementioned before we went. Think broken glass mountains, water, mirrors, metamorphosis, deception, straw-gold in dire limbo, and hiding spots. (at Cisternerne)

Hiroshi Sambuichi - Atelier and store, Hagi 2002. The wood for the concrete formwork was reused for the shutter doors and flooring, creating identical patterns in two materials.
