c.2000, taken in alphabet city aka loisaida. for surface mag. my signature design called a “ping pant | 3 rectangles” named after the ping sound from the knees moving in the space. i was fixated on euclidean mathematics + exploring fabric hemispheres, constricting movement. today, i still don’t people realize how conceptual of an artist i am. i have 2 prints of this foto, one in a safe spot for future framing and this one, rawly stuck on the wall collecting dust and fading from the daylight. i every time i see this foto, this is a reminder to myself of when i fearless & lacked the concept of no. #samiFUNfacts #smmsdesign #iamhappiestwhenidesign (at Alphabet City, Manhattan)
