Sitting on the plane, April was a little too nervous about this. Finally, after all this time ------ she was dating the man of her dreams. She was dating Roman Reigns; every girls fantasy of the perfect man. Where they knew him as Roman, she simply knew him as Joe and she was falling in love more and more every day. But today was Father's Day. And April had no idea what to do for the guy. She knew he'd be with his daughter; that beautiful little girl. But... she had an idea of surprising him. Maybe popping up with a present. Just to give him something else for the day.
Once she got off the plane, wandering around in Joe's hometown, she cupped the back of her neck with her small suitcase. Directions, she needed those and she wasn't sure exactly how to get there. But thankfully, April was pretty cool with Jimmy, his cousin.

April rushed and got a rental car with a GPS in there and she was off. The present sat in the passenger seat, along with her car. It was nothing special but April was feeling pretty giving and she felt that her boyfriend needed a great gift. Something that would make him happy and that would make him think of April all the time.
Finally pulling up to the house, she ran her fingers through her hair and readjusted her glasses. Coughing once, she turned the car off and stepped out, grabbing the envelope in her hand; along with the small box. She reached the door and gulped, ringing the bell with hopes that he would answer. A little nervous, she fidgeted from left foot to right, she parted her lips and let out a small sigh. But once the door opened, she was met face to face with the man she fell in love with.
"Hi." April grinned and bit down on her lower lip. "Happy Father's Day. Surprise?" She chuckled a little as Joe shook his head and pulled her in for a hug. He placed a kiss on her forehead and she nudged him; leaning up to kiss his lips. "I got you a present. And I won't stay long cause this is your babygirl's day with you... but..."
Pulling out the envelope and box, she handed it to him. "I got you something nice." Inside the box, it was a silver chain, nothing too special but it was something that April thought he would like. She never really saw him with any type of jewelry on. In the envelope was just a letter, basically telling him how much April loved him. The corniest thing in the world.
"When you come back, let me take you out to dinner."
And with that, she wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him in for yet another kiss.
