THE jeans for your sims!

i feel like it's hard to find good jeans, irl and on sims 4. so if you are picky like i am, this post is for you! i compiled some of my favorite jeans (by amazing cc creators) for your downloading pleasure.

HEADS UP: i have a preference towards the look of maxis match, so that is what most of my posts will be about!

idk about you simmers, but i LOVE a baggy jean... although i can never seem to pull them off. not a problem for my sims though! @jellymoo's perfect jojo jeans look amazing on! andddd they come in pink as well! that's definitely the way to my heart! if you are looking for something a bit less alternative, their wide jeans are also super cute!

y2k will always be in, so don't sleep on @greenllamas's iconic icy set! the jeans in the collection are unique but versatile enough that you could wear with most tops imo. and they are low waisted! did i mention they are low waisted??? (speaking of low waisted, check out the jeans in their mimosa collection as well!)

save a horse, dress a cowgirl! (or something clever like that.) either way, the howdy set by @arethabee has incredible items, including the cassidy jeans. if you are into the western look, this one is for you!

here's something different: @missvalentine142's mackenzie pants from the ms jackson collection have a built-in belt with a heart buckle, and come in 24 SHADES FOLKS. for you simmers who are not scared to try something new!

for my coquette girlies, here is @luxysims's bell bottom jeans - coquette edition. these work for any aesthetic though! specially if you are into the 70s vibes!

finally, if you are a practical girly, here are some cool cargo style jeans: the blue blood jeans by @trillyke. so many cute shades (30 to be exact), and there's a low-waisted and high-waisted version!

favorite cc collections (maxis match) p1

here is a list of my favorite cc collections available right now! these are mostly clothing/hair, and mostly for female sims (not to say you can't use these for any sim-- i just mean it looks feminine/girly!)! NEXT POST will be favorite male sims cc! stay tuned <3

@joliebean's HIGH TIDE COLLECTION has 14 items, with some gorgeous, feminine swimsuits, jewelry and cover-ups. it's beautiful for summer, or if you like to play in sulani!

@simcelebrity00's Yes, And? Set is technically, well... a set LOL. but it has six ADORABLE items, so I thought i'd include it. If you love Ariana Grande's aesthetic, your going to love this! it includes jewelry, a dress, a hairstyle, and a gloss!

i've already posted this one here, that's how much i love it! if you love kpop, you will love this too. @trillyke's HOT MESS collection is inspired by Aespa. trillyke describes it as "grunge" and "y2k", which is true! but the items (imo) are super versatile if you are into making alt sims from so many aesthetics! i personally am obsessed with the MANY accessories, my favorite being "melody's headphones"!

switching gears, if you are into the "model off-duty", "clean girl" look. you are going to OBSESS over @twisted-cat's OVERRIDE COLLECTION. the items are super classic and elegant, and work beautifully together. but they are also basics, so they can work with other items in your collection as well! i wish these were part of my irl wardrobe, that's how much i love them.

@arethabee is probably one of my favorite cc creators ever (and to be fully transparent, i am a member of her patreon!). her ritual collection is INSANE, especially if you are into 90s fashion, or whimsigoth imo. if you are obsessed with charmed or phoebe from friends (if she was a witch), you are going to fall for this cc as much as me! my personal favorite items are the cordelia (beetlejuice reference maybe???) cardigan and the aradia (so many possible references, i'm having a hard time) skirt. btw, i think she really succeeded with her goal of being "witchy" but "casual". let me know if i missed anything, but there will definitely be a part 2! i really love downloading collections to make cohesive looks for my sims. i like them to kind of stick to an aesthetic, and collections are so good for that. AND i have tested all of these in-game and they look wonderful! lmk if you want to see my sims <3 and if anything isn't working for you, update me! all creators are tagged! please check them out and support them!

“life in stages”: new cas challenge!

Here’s the idea: take a pre-made sim (e.g Bella Goth) and show different stages of their life. The catch is that with each stage, you have to design how the character has evolved based on life experiences, circumstances, and personality changes. So for instance, what would Bella Goth be like as a child? Teen?

Could be fun! Lmk if you like it! And if you do the challenge, I’d love to see it <3

p.s. what if you had to stay true to like… what the decade they’d be a teen in would be??

AND makeover what they look like currently! it would be cool to see why they turned out the way they did through their fit (no changing their features, like mouth/eye/nose/body shape. skin details and brows are fair game though!!!)

my favorite sims 4 cc creators on patreon pt 1!

most of these creators only require payment for early release! i linked their home pages, but my next post will be my favorite cc! their patreon's and tumblr's are linked below.

(I would argue most of these are maxis match styles! i can make an alpha version for y'all if you are interested!)

chewybutterfly (this is her tumblr) has donation based tiers, so all the content is free!

simcelebrity00 (@simcelebrity00 on tumblr) has a lot of cute clothes, hairstyles and accessories! i would say that the style is very elegant and minimalist.

Sunivaa (@sunivaa on tumblr) posts wonderful, otherworldly hairstyles for female and male sims (as well as kids!). there's some other content as well, like some poses, skin details, etc. there's a ton of content for free.

if you are looking for kid's cc, look no further than Lillka's patreon! (could not find their tumblr!) i mostly download cute infant/toddler/child clothes from them! super age appropriate and very adorable (and looks great in-game!)

Joliebean (@joliebean on here!) makes incredibly cohesive clothing collections (with hairstyles too!), which i love for making sims in a particular aesthetic. the cc is also super high quality. although members get early release, everything is eventually available for free! a sim based on my most prominent feature (big eyes)

i used to be super insecure about them (and my eyebags) because one dumb kid made fun of them when i was little. so i just wanted to incorporate them in a sim! i think she looks gorgeous (and big eyes are beautiful).
