Earth and Sky (Seraphiel x Samsonian Moshe)

Somehow, Moshe had observed, trouble tended to follow him ever since the accident. Today it seemed that trend would not change.

While at an art museum, something shifted the foundations. Moshe was sure it hadn’t been him: while he’d put on a lot of weight with the advent of his powers, but not enough to dislodge a building. Perhaps an old foundation finally gave way after years of wear and tear, maybe recent construction accidentally cracked it, but whatever happened, the building shuddered with a worrying groan. For one horrible moment everyone held their breath, hoping the building would hold, but they had no such luck. The whole building began to shift and shake, rubble and steel raining down on the people inside.

Moshe did his best to swat away rubble from people, but it was clear he needed to keep the building from collapsing if the people inside were to have any hope of evacuating.

He dashed through the halls, doing his best to uncover or free pinned people from beneath rubble and fallen sculptures while finding the shifting center of the building. Using a fallen pillar and some scrap metal that may have been a modern art exhibit, he speared the tall roof of the building and heaved. His powerful muscled strained under his loose clothes, even with his amazing strength working hard to keep the building upright. For a few moments at least, the rubble stopped falling.

“RUN!” he screamed at those who continued to gawk and look on in horror. “GET OUT, RUN, THIS BRACE WON’T HOLD FOREVER!”

For funsies, I’m laying out a few verses for my muses. Not full AUs, but rather different takes on their stories, essentially what ifs or in the cases of my longer lived muses different sections of their life. I’ll be listing these in each of the applicable blogs under Verses, and these can be requested for memes or RP at any time.

Without further ado, here are a few verses for Moshe Levinson:

Salt and Stone: In this verse, Moshe’s inherent magical abilities became evident much more clearly and much more early on. While he did not earn a full wizardship, he did prove competent enough to be recognized as a sorcerer, talented at geomancy, oddly enough discovered after Moshe found he could move granules of salt around. He is still able to generate golems, but his abilities now encompass more than just building clay automatons. He still has his faith, and he is still very cautious, but he has gained some confidence as he refined his own powers.

Samsonian: In this verse, something went a little wrong the first time Moshe attempted to create a golem. Rather imbuing a clay body with durability and strength, that power rebounded and settled into Moshe himself. When he woke, he found himself with the power he meant to imbue into the golem, complete with the words inscribed on his lifeless puppet’s forehead placed on his own in the form of scars. He was never able to recreate the experiment, nor create a proper golem, but he did retain herculean strength and impressive durability, if also an increased density as if he himself were made of wet clay. He is very hesitant and careful in this verse, lest his strength or weight cause unintentional damage. He’s unsure what to do with his power, and so lurks among the Paranet forums, hoping to draw inspiration for some way to contribute to the magical community.

He can change size while in Full Armor Mode to assume the appearance of a Giant Robot. His initial Max Size is around 200 Meters but eventually reaches 750 Meters with an increase in strength and speed relative to size.

1. Normal Mode, very human-like.

2. Armored Mode, partial transformation is possible.

3. Giant Robot Mode, Size depends on many variables.

Why is he called Robot Guardian and not Cyborg Guardian?

Publicity.

The creator of the Robot Guardians initially made full robots but after transitioning to human volunteers, opted not to change the name of the program.

Samsonian's story takes place in a version of the 21st Century where superheroes were a phenomenon of the previous century and are slowly aging out of service and existence.

This is one of the catalysts for the creation of the Robot Guardians.

Samsonian's design was inspired by many characters, including Guy from Gaogaigar, Samus Aran's Power Suit from Super Metroid and Noctis Lucis Caelum from Final Fantasy XV.
