So I’m going to start a new blog. It’s going to be dedicated to Tolkien. And probably The Chronicles of Narnia because that’s Tolkien-adjacent. I’m going to reblog LOTR stuff exclusively there and this blog will be SW. Just respond to this post if you want me to let you know when the blog gets going.

I wanted to give a little shout out to your beautiful soulmate fic with Rex. Everything about it is just so gorgeous and richly-written; the Jedha City setting, the way you’ve expanded on the culture of Jedha overall with the tea and the temples, and amazingly deeply-developed side characters like Sanura. I only got to spend a tiny bit of time with her, but I loved her so much already! And then the reveal about the starbird nickname, and how it connected to Rex’s birthmark...it’s all just so well planned and immersive, and I found myself desperate to learn what happens next. 

I absolutely loved both this concept and the way you executed it, and I was so excited to see that you were planning to expand on it even further! 

I felt like making a little moodboard for Rex and Danai, and I really hope you like it. Thank you for writing such a beautiful story and sharing it with all of us! x

100 Followers Celebration!!!

So somehow I reached 100 followers??? Not only am I completely blown away, but so totally grateful! In order to celebrate, I’ve decided to do some moodboards!!

You don’t have to be following me to request a moodboard, so anyone can request and participate! 🥰

Updated Ratings

I’ve finally gotten around to deciding what I want to do for my updated fic ratings and tags. They are going to be as follows (but I’m essentially going to be using the same ratings as AO3): 

GEN - general rating, equivalent to SFW content.

MA - mature rating; steamy, adult themes; violence, gore, and/or additional warnings. NO SMUT

Explicit - NSFW content, explicit smut

I will be tagging my fics with #general, #mature, and #explicit. These updates will be reflected in my Masterlist too. Just to be clear, my blog is still 18+ so I will not hesitate to block minors if I see them following me or interacting with my works.

F: Share a snippet from one of your favourite dialogue scenes and explain why you're proud of it.

This is a little snippet from my wedding!date!obi fic - I really loved his teasing, the hint of their past history with his memory, and sweetly oblivious and head-over-heels reader:

“Sweetheart.” The nickname would normally make you melt, but you’re too busy trying to be brave, “Honestly, It was a line dance. I would’ve taught your grandmother how to do it.”

His exasperated look turns thoughtful, “You know, I think I actually did? Last summer, at your cousin’s-”

You shake your head, annoyed and enamored and hurt, your hands spreading wide, “It’s fine. It’s not a big deal. It could be nice, you know?”

Ben’s smile fades, as your back presses against the the wall, your eyes darting away as you clarify, “For you to dance with someone you actually want to be with.”

There’s a beat of silence. Stretching out, agonizing.

And then he laughs again, and it embarrasses you further - his fingers coming to catch your chin and tilt it upwards as he steps closer.

“Is that what you think, darling?” He breathes, as his words draw your eyes back. Meeting his heavy-lidded gaze, as his head dips level with yours.

“That I haven’t wanted this?”

Ahh I could never pick favorites! I follow so so many talented people that have made me feel such a range of emotion with their beautiful writing (like you!! 💖). I’m picking the last 3 accts I have reblogged fics from instead - they are absolutely amongst my faves! 💕

@stargirlfics - you never fail to make me fall in love with the story, and you write dialogue so beautifully and naturally! 💖and your fics always feel so luxurious and ahh I just want to curl up in them

@cupofjoel - your ideas! 💕Are always amazing and the way you nail Joel’s characterization really inspires me. So many of your finds have me hanging on to his every word - I just want to inhale everything you write!

@softlyspector - I have really been enjoying catching up on your fics! 💖 There is so much beauty woven into your words and I find myself just so immersed the world you’ve created - right there feeling everything with reader and falling in love. You have such a talent!
