Baby Samantha!!
Sammi just showed up at the back door of my parents' shop one day crying for attention. When I got home that day, my mom introduced me to her, taking me outside and saying there was something she wanted me to see. Sam immediately ran up with a high pitched mew and I felt it in my soul.
Sammi very quickly stole all of our hearts, but my parents were resistant to bringing another cat home. Bringing her in the shop, though, they were quickly on board with, so there I'd visit her every day after school and beg and beg and beg to bring her into our home. Eventually they were swayed ;)
And not a moment have any of us regretted it.
