El recipiente más adecuado es la cesta de mimbre o algo similar. – No deben recolectarse hongos durante la noche pues se puede perturbar la fauna silvestre presente en la zona – En caso de los hongos hipogeos, el terreno deberá dejarse en las condiciones originales, rellenando los agujeros producidos en la extracción con la misma tierra extraída.
