San Da
i guess i can officially say i have developed an addiction to kickboxing
This guy is legit, my kung fu brother kicking ass in the combative side of the arts. Dai Sihing not only shows his fighting ability as seen through push hands, grappling, and sanda, but is also one of the most impressive performers I have ever seen. He is one of the few that is completely well rounded. Great form, great fighting, great ground work, great push hands and a great teacher. I find myself making great strides in my training when I am surrounded by such talented martial artists. Kung fu osmosis I guess.
Need to find a sponsor.
So I'm planning to get as fit and string as possible this year, in preparation for Tough Mudder, as well as returning to competitive martial arts, both in straight San Da (Chinese kickboxing) and in general amateur MMA. If I get my skills sharpened fast enough, I'm going to take a shot at the amateur lightweight title in a tournament being organized in Brisbane. I'm not expecting to win it, but I'll give it a damned good try! Problem is, im broke as hell these days, with my business priorities. Business still being in development stages it doesn't make a lot of money. So, I really need to find a sponsor if I'm going to do that. Being a new, amateur fighter, that's not going to be easy.
