Sand Dream, theme of Grey/Legumina By Yuki Kajiura

I have certain instruments that relate to a certain character, Grey’s instrument just happens to be a flute, hence the relation of this whole song towards their character. A flute is high pitched, soft and melancholic, this represents their experiences throughout time, an instrument that one would not associate with them in the first place. But as the soft guitar and violin plays in, which is the two instrument that represent their siblings, things become slightly more sadder yet lighter. The choir at the back can represent the magical background that they have, the pinnacle of magic-kind, their followers celebrating their birth which is sad.

This can be interpreted in many ways.
