Sandnose is a loyal, patient tom- one of Dapplestar's most devoted cats. Although the two of them have cooled off their romantic relationship, Sandnose is still very enthusiastic with his affection for his leader, to almost an embarrassing degree if you ask their kits. As a deputy, he's solid and steady, a shoulder for his clanmates to lean on in hard times. He also helped the late queen Berrycloud by siring her kits, Springpoppy and Dawnstripe.
In recent years, he's been developing quite a bad case of asthma, but despite badgering from Root Clan’s medicine cat Thicketfang and his family, Sandnose isn't quite ready to start slowing down just yet.
