         Miya was by no means a person overly reliant on others.  That had stayed the same as it had in the past,  even when it came to her contracted Servants (to their dismay.)  But, that last battle had been dangerous;  more dangerous than those in the past.  Something had stirred within her at the thought of losing him.  That was the only reason she was bringing this up.  The only reason stubborn pride was shoved down for even a moment--to tell him how she really felt.

          She expects a laugh, or a dismissal of his worries.  He was after all,  Ozymadias.  King of Kings!  What was there to fear with him around?  But instead she’s greeted by a different reaction.  Hand touching her face--forehead pressed against hers in close contact.  There’s a smirk followed by complete silence,  and she feels her face (infuriatingly so!) begin to heat up.

           “D-Don’t misunderstand!  I’m perfectly capable of taking care of myself.”  Flustered as she was by the surprisingly intimate action,  she had to be at least clear about that.  She clears her throat,  calming her still beating heart.  Even as he continued to hold onto her hand for some baffling reason.  “... But I’m glad you’ll be more careful.  So thank you.”
