The bluntness was noted. His fingers idly preening his glass-like wings, listening, but never interrupting. Death was never something he had to fear, never an adversary that needed to be overcome or put in it's place. Never something that needed to feel the wrath of God. Gabriel was first and foremost a weapon to be dispatched at the will of The Father, he'd seen countless deaths. Been a messenger to warn of others.
Death was... well to be just as blunt as the horseman, something that came for every living thing. Inescapable. You can never outrun it no matter how much you try. Not every soul needed saving, not every soul that did need it would be. Such is the way of life. He ran his fingers along the edge of a feather, sharp as a blade, perfect.
"I try not to bother myself with such things." A lie, but who would really call out The Hand Of The Father on it?
"I think..." he trailed off waving a hand with a dismissive shake of his head, "Never mind what I think. I guess someone more focused on saving others would have a different perspective than someone whose a punishment for humanity's own sins. It's not my place to judge. More curious about your work than anything."
