The Hanged Man in Reverse: When has your character tried to avoid making a major decision?

Plenty of times, but most recently in the past few years or so. There’s been a lot of instances that made Nath consider picking up and leaving as he used to do before. But each and every time, he’s found a reason (or many) as to why he couldn’t rightfully do that.

During those times, he’d stay out late, avoid home (wherever it was), drink a lot, and just do whatever kind of evasive maneuver he could think of to keep him from having to actually decide.

📅- Are there lots of wall decorations? If so, what kinds?

There are a few pieces of art but the walls are generally kept clear. 

Cen likes a less cluttered space but rotates out art that is sentimental to her.

One of her favorite pieces is a painting done by her dwarf mentor. It’s of his favorite ram.

Can't sleep~

Some days I feel as if I’ve always known her. Some days I realize I barely know her but she is family to us either way. 

She holds things back, I am most curious as to what.

28. ♥ Do they understand their partners/person they are courting’s feelings without them having to say anything?

Reeta is very good at reading people, which helps, but her natural tendency towards being a bit cold and detached when annoyed (and she’s easily annoyed) could still lead to disaster if it weren’t for the very lucky fact of Leolo being incredibly direct. Whatever he’s feeling, it’s easy for her to tell, because it’s usually being broadcast to everyone around him--and, too, they spend so much time in each other’s presence that they don’t need words.

2. ♥ When they have a crush on someone, how do they let them know?

Tanryn will tell them! Granted, in Aethan’s case she asked for harp lessons first, and spent a good week or so agonizing over whether she really wanted to bone the guy who got sent to Hearthglen from the Silvermoon Church of the Light (the Church-based equivalent of being exiled to Siberia) for very good reasons.

Annnnnd then she decided the answer was yes, and made him dinner. Despite her protestations to the contrary, this is also around when genuine feelings for him started to develop beyond friendship and lust.

Lunath, meanwhile, suffers in silence for weeks. He was a bit more direct in life, but undeath has made him wary of pursuing anything resembling feelings (not to mention making those feelings much rarer in the first place). His desire not to be pushy or scare his boyfriend off meant that they hovered in each other’s orbit long enough for the entire rest of the household to develop frustrated twitches* before he actually asked if they could date.

19. ♥ What was their first impression about their partner/person they are courting?

“Damn, he’s hot. Wait, why does he look like someone just kicked his puppy? This must not stand.”

And now they’re disgustingly married.

Cen actually wasn’t completely interested in following the family tradition of being a Ranger but when her brother refused, it fell on her.

Conversely she hated him for it and when her parents died, she abandoned him with ease. 

It’s very possible she would have been a rogue and learned the ways of the shadow.

“Mn… Mierette is a good friend,” Natharai murmured, getting a little more sleepy now that he had nearly finished a whole bottle of bourbon by himself. He paused for a moment as he rubbed at his eyes messily, knocking his glasses askew. “I cannot say I know her incredibly well, but I think that is because she’s… probably one of the more simple people I know. Simple life, that is… She has a family. A fucking huge family at that and even though I don’t know them… I feel like I do through her stories alone.”

“Heh…” A goofy, if not fleeting, smile flit upon his lips as he cradled the bottle between two hands. “She’s kind. Humble, when she has to be. Confident the rest of the time.”

“I feel safe with her, which is…an odd feeling for me.” He sniffs again, pawing at his nose without an iota of grace. “Not many in my life I can say I feel that way around.”

“And I like her fox…Haha…” The laughter at the end was quiet and sweet, his eyes glossy as he pawed at his nose once more. “She’s really nice to let me pet him… Llwynog’s so soft. I miss them both.”
