Y’all, I made it worse.

I swore I’d write one of the WIP fics. I was very excited to write it.

And then I sat down… and started another SangXu fic. Please forgive me, any of my readers that see this

(Also I need someone to read it and tell me if it counts as necrophilia)

“Okay I took two days off of work in a row using PTO so I can really rest up and recharge! Time to continue my WIP fics!” - a quote from me, optimistic, naive, and ready to go.

And then I couldn’t figure out what to write

I gave up last night at 10pm and said I’d just go to bed early despite having been committed to stay up late

I was laying there, daydreaming

And then a vision came to me - an image I’ve been daydreaming of: Wen Xu, standing over the body of his father, after taking him down to protect someone.

Which is why, instead of continuing literally any of my WIP fics that people have commented on recently, I wrote a brand new one-shot about Wen Xu being delusional about Nie Huaisang…

I’m sorry to my NieYao, XianShe, and Guangshan/Zhuliu fans 🥲 the inspiration of a writer is unpredictable

(And to any crack ship loving fans that see this… I write lots of crack ship fics for MDZS/The Untamed! My main go to is SangXu and ChengChao, but I also write whatever my heart thinks is a good idea. Someone on Reddit even convinced me to give Xichen/Wen Xu a shot and I really like how that fic turned out!)
