"Not bad for an alien pretending to be human."
- Shiro @ Varro (is he talking about himself, who knows)
It felt like a personal attack when it came to that, it would be anyways if Varro had any sense in knowing what that was - it had him looking at himself due to his small human characteristics. Hands pulled the lapels of his coat open more, looking around at what visibility of his body, and more so a hand slipped his hat off that landed on the floor. All before combing into his locks that were already flattened down and shagged even more from him ruffling them.
"Are you saying that I'm not doing a good job?" Safe to say it was a joke, even if it was a hidden understanding in the end - though as for a joke, it was hard to tell since Varro had no substance yet. But he was progressing in his own way. But it looked like he got lost in the sauce with such short notice when he started swaying in place, alike he was doing a little dance in place. Amused a bit by the ends of his coat - safe to say he truly didn’t even notice his own body sometimes.
"So, lemme get this straight, there are people for whom regular social interaction is… easy?"
- Shiro @ Ez
Ezme nodded her head, although it was to confirm his words but not agreeing she was one of those people who had that ability. Far from it in the end, but of course it wasn't hard to spare a few words overall.
"Can you believe it? Somehow people have such an easy time talking to a complete stranger, imagine being able to shut off your brain long enough and form coherent sentences. Or don't, you just shut down and not realize what you’re saying anymore. Just enough to get you by in a conversation. Sure as hell isn’t an easy feat for me, social settings got me fucked up.” She complained, not that Ezme attended them ever in that matter, three is a crowd for her as is. It didn’t bother her though.
“I don’t know, people are psychopaths, am I right?”
"I’m screaming internally. You can’t tell."
- Miki @ rng (I can't decide)
Faron could relate with a few things, although it wasn't many but what this one had to say too about it wasn't far from what he could feel too. Not that it bothered him too much, seeing how it wasn't him as the post man picking up his mess of mail, but instead Miki who seemed instead, hellbent on fumbling with his mail but he didn't quite catch on as to why.
"I am too, I am too... but you can see it." Faron added, the flicks of his lighter sparked, but he was flameless. Whether that was his turmoil, or the fact his stack as disheveled, it appeared it wasn't going to be that way for long while he leaned over - watching Miki make work of his mess and somehow tidy.
"Are you looking for your mail, or are you sizing them up?" He was more than wrong, missing the mark entirely.
"We’re fine with our tears and beers."
- Fang @ post gang
The little post squad vibing even in their small trio wasn’t uncommon but all respectfully so - a fourth wasn’t a bad thing at all. Especially since they all recognized him in some form of way, whether name sake glimpses and more so through a few others. Knox being one of them since his relationship with his sibling.
“Tears and beers, sounds like we have the name of our quad group now. But are we obligated to strictly drink beers?” Knox added, albeit he had nothing against beer at all - he lacked as many brain cells as the next.
“Yes we are, the big guy made the name and he gets say in what we drink in this group now. Them’s the rules, as it should be.” Faron tapped his bottom lip shortly after as he was registering thoughts - he had zero beer knowledge but he was on par to the concept, leaning his frame on the table edge.
“Yes... And that also means... We all cry together, too. Cult of four now, we will see who dehydrates faster and ends up a raisin at the same time.” Leaning over, it was a mere small space she was hanging onto until her head lowered to rest chin first on the surface. “Unless he isn’t having that.”
"You ever finish your day and realize your shirts been backward the whole time…? Yeah. Me too."
- Miki @ Jo yeet
It wasn’t long that she’d finished what she was doing, given though for once she was by herself in that long run - or so she’d thought at first. Sitting on the sidewalk curb at first, trying to stuff a few things into the pack back of hers. So much that Josiah heard the footsteps prior, maybe he seen something wrong with her shirt - that he mentioned inside out shirts. Head turning, eyes landed on his legs first before peeping up at him.
“Yes, but do you also finish your day and realize it’s inside out sometimes too?” Looking down at herself shortly after, and down to conclusion - a hand lifted to hook an index just in the collar of the shirt, a gentle tug to pull it open so she could peek down at the tag with a chuckle.
“Hmm... hm-hm-hm... Do you believe in left and right sided socks?”
I'll squish your pudge
