In “About Tayta”, we learn a little more about the past of “The Narrator”, Arthur. Through a dissociation related to derealization, he tells us in first person about his relationship with a bird called “Tayta”. As the story progresses – he, in a position closer to the ground and the bird showing its true form – the atmosphere becomes more macabre.

“ El otro yo: Arthur”, is a double-sided self-publishing of a narrative nature. Digitally illustrated, it includes two short stories that revolve around the personality of Arthur, an original character.

There are different interpretations for this story. They are all valid. However, while I was writing it, I wanted to talk about unearthing a trauma. During childhood, it is difficult to assimilate certain situations, and one way to deal with them is dissociation, or creative sublimation —see in “The Narrator”—. Although honestly, I wrote both scripts mechanically, giving him the interpretation once finished. Therefore, any analysis is correct!
En “Sobre Tayta”, conocemos un poco más del pasado de “El narrador”, Arthur. A través de una disociación relacionada con la desrealización, nos cuenta en primera persona su relación con un ave llamada “Tayta”. A medida que avanza la historia —él, en posición cada vez más cerca del suelo y el ave mostrando su verdadera forma—, el ambiente se va tornando más macabro.
