Here, guys, I got you this. Have we noticed that magical girls tend to have a guide-figure of some sort? I mean, I feel like that's part of the genre. Sailor Moon has Luna, Madoka has Kyuubei (okay, maybe that's a bad example), Cardcaptor Sakura has Kero--it's a thing. So~, this is mine.

Age: Only just adult in terms of their people, around 157 in human years.
Sex: None, preferred pronoun is “they,” also refer to themselves as “we.”

Facts about the Observers:
All Observers are sexless and refer to themselves with plural pronouns. There is no word in their language for “I” or any gender-based pronouns; they simply refer to each other as “you” or (in the third person) “they,” or often by name.
The Observers are fascinated by humans. Their world exists almost completely parallel to ours, but, as indicated by their name, they look in on Earth quite often. Most view Earth as a form of entertainment, just like watching a TV show, but others feel much more involved toward it. There’s a great deal about human nature and logic that they don’t understand; maybe that’s why they find Earth so interesting.
It is difficult, but not impossible to move from the world of the Observers to Earth. Most have no reason to attempt it, but there have been some who have taken it upon themselves to make the journey, usually out of concern for the fate of the humans.
Because they exist on a separate plane, the Observers are intangible to humans, even when on Earth (this does not mean invisible or even translucent). They can force their bodies into a state of solidness like a human’s, but it requires a great deal of energy.
Their bodies are fundamentally the same as humans’ (two arms, two legs, one head, one torso)
Body: Sansat looks human, though an eccentric human by most people’s standards. Their skin is fair with a somewhat yellowish tint to it, and they have no hair on their body (this includes eyebrows and eyelashes). It’s possible that at some point, they’ll adopt wigs and the like in order to better fit in. Their body and facial features are completely androgynous; the idea of binary gender still confuses them. They’re smaller than most humans, only about 5’ tall, but still mature; Observers grow taller with age.
Eyes: Their irises are larger than those of humans and pale green. They rarely blink, and when they do, it’s more a sign of mental processing rather than a reflex.
Background: (Abridged to avoid spoilers) They’ve always had a more invested interest in the humans than most, perhaps a mark of their youth. Most Observers are content to simply watch history unfold, but when Sansat saw that monsters (monsters not native to the human plane) were appearing on Earth, they felt an obligation to fix it. Against the advice of the Eldest Observers, in an act of childish impulse, they went to the human world to seek out and recruit “warriors” to combat the threat.
Personality: Because of the century they’ve spent observing Earth, Sansat likes to think they have a fairly complete knowledge of human behavior, but there are many things they still don’t understand. For instance, they know little to nothing about popular culture, and therefore misunderstand references and certain phrases on occasion. They’re very goal-oriented, but they’re also easily distracted all the fun and exciting things Earth has to offer. This leads them to be torn between responsibility and leisure fairly often, meaning they’ll have to be dragged away from that movie or carnival or water park in order to lead the girls to a fight. They try their best to understand the girls and to be their friend, possibly just because they haven’t had much interaction with humans until now, so it’s another novelty to them. Their relationship with the girls may be a bit formal at the moment (not by choice but just as a result of their attitude), but maybe that will change…
