{ fckuk hi its 4 am } okokok, but imagine fell keeps this vent journal. like, it's a mess of drawings && random thoughts. one day while he's out, idk, taking berry for ice cream or something, paps finds it laying around && takes it. { 1 // ? }
like, he takes it, not knowing what it actually is, && goes to put it back. but one of the pages falls out. so paps grabs for it && looks at it. && he really wishes that he hadn't. he starts shaking && his eyes start. absolutely watering. { 2 }
it's this messy drawing of fell ; he's drawn with a third eye --- a human eye --- && he's got a large slash mark, drawn with red pen through his chest, && shaky handwriting that reads "they'll both leave you too". && fuck paps is freaking out. { 3 }
&& without thinking he starts going through the book. every page is worse than the last. so many negative thoughts && all around mortifying doodles.... then fell comes home. && he sees paps, sees he's a wreck. so he tries cheering him up. { 4 }
paps can't even give him time to say hello. he just. yanks fell into his arms && cradles him to his ribs. fell's confused ; did something happen? so fell just cuddles up to papyrus && tells him it's alright. he always hated seeing paps cry. { 5 }
they stay cuddled up for quite a while, then when papyrus accidentally falls asleep, sans weasels away to make dinner. cue papyrus waking up about halfway && getting super nervous ; he really doesn't want fell to be alone. { 6 }
paps watches him intensely, which makes fell a little more than nervous. even when dinner's ready && they're all eating, he's still staring. it's just because paps doesn't know how to make him feel better about himself. { 7 i think? idk lmao }
after dinner, fell apologises for not being on top of things today, that he'll "be better tomorrow". this breezes past berry, but papyrus knows. he just. follows fell to his room, && sits down on his bed, watching. he finally looks back. { 8 }
fell asks if he's okay. && papyrus just. blows tf up. he absolutely begins spilling praise to him about, just, everything. && fell is just ??? wat he doin??? then paps takes fell into his arms && whispers ; "i'm never going to leave you. " { 10 }
then he realises. paps was never mad, just worried. he takes a minute, babbling incoherently, then just kisses him. after that, they curl up && fell just kinda, talks about his problems. they fall asleep in each other's arms. { 11 // 11 }
I seem to be missing part 9 but it reads fine without it so i’m not sure if it was just mis-numbering or what,,,,,
but this was so quality dude,,, idk if you guys have caught on to this about me yet but like,, characters cuddling and falling asleep together?? that’s my shit man, I fucking love that B’D

I’d also like to add that maybe, gradually, the journal gets filled with like,,,, good things that have happened,, and at first, fell sans sounds surprised about all these good things,, little by little, the way he writes just becomes warmer and warmer until, one day pap finds it again and, upon peeking through it, is overcome with relief and so much happiness because sans is finally, finally feeling good about himself and feeling like he belongs and hhhhhhhh everything is GOOD
