papyrus forsaking his own emotions to make his brother happy since they were kids. papyrus making sure sans is satisfied and happy even if it means putting on a fake persona 24/7. papyrus who feels hopelessly dependent on sans but is unable to express his emotions and deep love towards him out of fear that he'll ruin the relationship; papyrus thinks sans is his only rock after all, if he feels uncomfortable or god forbid feels disgusted with papyrus's feelings, then he'd be unhappy for life. doomed fontcest where both of them reciprocate but think they will ruin the relationship if they bring it up, so they both suffocate in their emotions until they die.

personally my fav interpretation of fontcest is them being this awful codependent unlabeled relationship. both of them know its probably unhealthy for brothers to be this close but they're their only solace. they love each other so much but neither of them communicate their worries or fears about their relationship to each other so they're stuck in this undefined space where they're closer than brothers should be but they can't ever leave. they feel guilty about each other but they can never address it or even let the feelings they have for each other linger.

for the purposes of this post we're gonna pretend wingdings doesnt exist as their brother because if i discuss the doomed yaoi of all 3 of them together this post will be 1000x longer
