Wrapping up DAHC 2014 and Gifts Outstanding

Every year we have a few gifts fall through the cracks and Santa Flemeth, despite some RL issues this past week is working on tracking down what she can. As a reminder, participants that did not respond either with a gift or a message to Santa Flemeth by the 31st of December will not be eligible to participate in future exchanges. While I understand (very much this year) how real life can get in the way of even the best intentions, it's unfair to those who worked to get gifts in on time despite their own holiday preparations. 

That said, I know there are still a few gifts outstanding thanks to the mail or late responses. I'm am contacting participants or pinch-hitters to do my best in making sure everyone receives something.

So Many Gifts!

There's a lot of gifts sitting in Santa Flemeth's inbox right now, it's wonderful! Early gifts have already been queued up so you'll see those start posting very soon. (Likely right after this post goes up.) As the queue is posting, Santa Flemeth will be working on sorting through email and tumblr inbox posts so she can make sure to check gifts off her list before they get sent into the queue.

For those of you that receive physical gifts, if you could drop me a note when you get your gift that would be great. Or better yet, take a picture and post it up with the #dahc 2014 tag.

When You're Finished and Ready to Gift

If you're sending a physical gift, I'd appreciate at least a note to know that you've sent your gift. If you'd like to send images of what you're sending, you can email them in and I'll post them for your recipient when I start posting the rest of the gifts.

For digital gifts you can submit single images or fics through the tumblr submission option. Otherwise, please email your gifts to Santa Flemeth and I'll post it.

All the gifts will start posting on the 25th.

It's Getting Hot in Here

How is everyone doing on their gifts? I know a few people have turned in already, and several gifts are in the mail (or about to be). This is your chance to let me know how it's going so far. A reminder that gifts are due by the 31st, and the cut-off for dropping out is the 20th. 

Just give this post a like or drop a comment if you're feeling like your on track to have everything finished by the end of the year.

If you're feeling like you need to drop out, please send Santa Flemeth an email so she can make other arrangements.

All Emails Sent!

Everyone who signed up should have an email now with their giftee's information. I've updated the participant list so that it's in alphabetical order. If your name is on that list you should have gotten an email. If you don't have one, please let me know.

I know some of you that were in the first batch of emails already have some questions about your giftee. Santa Flemeth will reach out to get answers for you as soon as possible.

First Batch of Emails Sent!

It took awhile, but the first half of the emails with giftee information has gone out to their secret santas. If you haven't yet received an email, you should see it by tomorrow. I've put up a list of this year's participants here, if you want to double check for your name. If you're on that list, I received your survey and you will be receiving a match. You'll see another post from Santa Flemeth once all of the emails have been sent.

Now that many people have received their giftee's information, I'm sure that many of you will be interested in getting address information for the purpose of sending physical gifts. If that's the case, just send Santa Flemeth and email and she'll arrange to get you that or any other information you need from your giftee.

Matching is Complete!

Apologies for the delay, Santa Flemeth got some bad news this week about her beloved mabari, and is currently taking care of him until it's time to say goodbye. It took me a little bit more time to make matches this week than expected because of this. 

The good news is that matches have been made and emails will start going out tomorrow with all the information you'll need to know about your giftee. I'll state this again as matches go out, but please keep your giftee a secret until after gifts are given. If you need to reach out to your giftee and you don't have a way to do so anonymously, Santa Flemeth can contact them on your behalf.

Santa Flemeth is officially closing signups now. 

I'll be making matches through the rest of this week and will make an announcement before they go out to everyone. 

This is a big year! And we're only a week from Inquisition!
