Everything went back to him. Back to Ruthenia and their wealth. And the crumbling economy of the Shin Nippon. Things hadn’t been the same after that last storm. The solar flares were getting worse. Crops weren’t growing. Most of the water had become contaminated. Their planet was dying, and their people would die along with it.

They had but one gambit left….Yuuri.

For Christmas, Jess would like... I wish Santa would bring me a Hurdy Gurdy. I've always wanted to play one (⌒‿⌒)

Yuuri Katsuki owns a small pet store in a little town on the coast. He loves running his own business, and especially loves Sundays when his best friend, Phichit, runs adoption events for his animal rescue organization in his store. Victor Nikiforov has always wanted a dog, excitedly attending the scheduled pet adoption hoping to find his first furever friend. Another universe where these two find each other, this time with a little help from the brown fluff of Makkachin herself.

Brows creased, Yuuri's gaze roamed the great hall to realise just how many of their company were bearing down on Viktor. The Lords followed him with their devouring eyes, like vultures tracking their dying prey.

Here he is — he’s come to Saint Petersburg five days early without telling anyone except his family; without even telling Victor, who was so eager to meet him off the plane. So, now he’s standing in front of him, bag in hand and backpack on shoulders, sweating because of the winter coat he’s wearing. Or maybe because of something else. The stupid decision he made, for example.

For Christmas, Neer would like... more hours in a day :D
