Does anyone else just absolutely love the Mc YouTube scene right now in terms of dynamics. Like... I feel like, being Hispanic, I've always been plagued with toxic masculinity and gender roles and boys can't do this or they'll seem gay or girls can't do this because they're not real women. But taking the dream team as an example, they just don't care. They play into gay jokes, they joke around, they do lots of fan service and even admit to having read ff and it just... It's so refreshing, and it makes me feel so warm inside. The fact that they don't take it as an offense to be deemed gay or put into a gay ship. They don't consider it a "danger" to their masculinity. They're just a group of friends poking fun at each other... Like, I feel like I rarely see that, and it's just so simple most people wouldn't take notice to it. But I do because growing up in a culture where LGBTQ+ is one of the worst things you could be makes you feel so ashamed of yourself, and these kinds of dynamics, Dream team, skephalo, DreamNotFound, Saphalo, etc. is so gosh damn freeing and makes me feel so happy I can't help but smile every time I watch them. But anyway, that's just how I feel, anybody else feel similar?
