BEN DE’
English Version
OTHER CHAPTER:
Iisha took Ishke’s hand by the wrist. “Iisha?” he asked. She looked at him with light in her eyes and put his hand on the place over her heart. It was beating fast. Ishke’ started to blush. “Uh… Iisha? Is something wrong?” he tried not to think about where his hand actually was. Iisha didn’t talk for a long time. Then, she said: “This is how my heart feels about you, Ishke’.” Ishke’ looked at her. He had wondered about this for a while. Why she looked at him and then looked away. Why her friends joked about how he would be a good boyfriend for her. Why she always seemed to blush and fidget when he was near her. He just looked at her.
The longer that Ishke’ just looked and said nothing, the more that Iisha seemed to be blushing. She looked like a red plum. Ishke’ put his other hand by hers. He looked down at her hand and then looked back up at her. “Can I?” he asked. Iisha didn’t say anything. She just nodded. He grabbed her hand and moved his fingers over it before he put it over his heart. He inhaled and said: “Mine is the same. I always questioned it, asked myself and wondered why I even thought that I could be with you.” Iisha looked at him with tears starting to form in her eyes. Ishke’ moved his hand that was on her chest up to her face and put it on her cheek. He moved his thumb to wipe away a tear that was sliding down her face. Not a tear of sorrow, but one out of joy.
“How long have you felt this way?” Iisha asked Ishke’. He thought for a while. “I honestly have no idea,” he finally said. “What about you? When did you start to have feelings for me?” Iisha didn't think as long as Ishke’ did. “Since the beginning,” she said. “I had feelings for you ever since I walked into the class.”
Ishke’ didn’t have time to process what she had said before she kissed him by surprise. Ishke’ was shocked, but did nothing. He put his arm around Iisha’s back and kissed her too.
