If it's not time for a glass of cold Reisling, please look the other way.
I got up and cut 2 batches of soap and ground down a large pot full of old soap to cook down into laundry detergent.
Then I left and drove to NW Chattanooga to get my friend Lynn's kids and take them to music lessons. Then I went to Home Depot for a piece of shelving to use as a drying rack for my soaps, because I'm tired of having to stick them here and there everywhere in the shelves wherever they fit.
Went to Dollar tree and Walmart to get more water and bread, cheese, crackers. Things that can be eaten without the stupid electric stove if the storm knocks our power out, since they're prediction is category 3 winds and 3" of sudden rain for us, even though we're in NW Georgia.
I got home at 4, tired of traffic and crowds and traffic. I put away all the provisions and put up the shelf. I put 4 batches of new, cut bars of soap on it to dry.
I cleaned the kitchen and washed all the dishes and cleaned the stove. I took out trash, fed chickens & the dog, and did a load of laundry, which I hung around the porch.
The ex is bringing the kids home in a couple hours. Until then, I'm gonna sit on my ass in the blessed silence of my comfy house, sipping a bottle glass of wine and knitting.

What is farmhand breakfast soap?
Howdy!
It is a goat’s milk soap with egg yolk (the amino-3 fatty acids are good for the skin), microbits of bacon, and a fragrance like waffles with syrup served with bacon. It’s a new brainchild of mind and so far I am LOVING it. Smells amazing and lathers like crazy.
I have Beer 'n' Bacon soap, Chocolate Cherry goat's milk soap, and Tia Rosa goat's milk soap that will be on my shop and available to ship in time for Valentine's Day. They're gorgeous soaps. Will post pics soon.
Aaaaannd, THIS is what a failed batch of soap looks like
