thesilverinspector- A Case
Jo sighed, and grabbed at her jacket. There had been an urgent call from Lestrade, asking her to drag Sherlock to New Scotland Yard for a case they were working on.
As per usual, he had sulked and refused to go. Therefore Joanna was forced to go on her own, despite knowing she wouldn't be much use and Sherlock would only call her an idiot, and every other synonym of stupid that he knew. There were a lot, as his vocabulary was vast.
The cab ride was quiet, and gave Jo time to think. She hadn't been given much information, only being told that there had been a murder, and there was no apparent motive nor evidence.
Sighing again, she exited the cab, and walked into Scotland yard, which she swore was her second home at the moment.
"Here to see Lestrade," she explained to the receptionist, who she recognized slightly, before slipping away up the stairs to his office, stopping to grab two coffees from the vending machine.
"Before you declare everlasting and undying love for me, it's only the office sludge." She smiled and placed one down in front of him.
"What have you got?"
